oh man

I'm glad I've taken to thinking about the posts I write and not writing them. Sometimes I edit them.

A recent one would have included this little gem, except that somehow, a Better Judgment Filter kicked on and put it here.

"I said he had the right to. I neither agreed nor disagreed with the wisdom of it. I have the right to, at this very moment, strip buck naked, coat myself in glue, and attach pearls to myself in the kitchen. And in the tradition of my own non-judgment of one's right to do the sorts of things one has a right to do, God love him, my apprentice would come downstairs, not blink an eye, make himself a sandwich, and suggest a better glue."

...my apprentice would come downstairs, not blink an eye, make himself a sandwich, and suggest a better glue.

I would at least hope that at some point, the type and quality of pearl being affixed would be questioned and discussed.

I mean, cultured freshwater pearls? Please.

I would have likely pointed out the areas where you had allowed the pattern to break, and questioned the significance of body pearls throughout history. And then glued your buttocks to a chair.

Good choice -- pearls go with everything!

Yeah, yeah he would. And then tell his wife who would come check and make sure that everything was in place before she took pictures.

hey, I think I did that once for money
I once had a job that involved me dancing in a cage while coated with little jems and glow in the dark paint.

I believed they used liquid latex to stick the gems on. Pretty much like coating myself in glue and attaching pearls to myself.......

Only I got paid.

And situations like that are why I am highly unlikely to become a Laurel anytime soon....ROFLMAO!

I would hope it was liquid latex...spirit gum would mess up the pearls, and the remover for it is worse.

Now, where did I put my art supplies. Glad to see you post again. Hope to see you soon.

Well, the pearls were a personal artistic choice, so there wasn't much to comment on there. However I figured you would want a faster setting glue to keep the occasional pearl from popping off while waiting for it to cure.

Are these the same pearls that fell from your lips?
